About Utma

Utma is a mountainous protected area in the central highlands west of Dhamar, ranging from 920 to 2,800 meters in elevation. One of Yemen's oldest designated reserves, it lies within the As-Sarah mountain range and preserves traditional rangeland and montane ecosystems with diverse wildlife.
