About Che Tao

A high-mountain conservation area south of Mu Cang Chai in Yen Bai, ringed by peaks of 1,700-2,500 m around the Nam Chai headwaters. It is a key stronghold for the critically endangered western black-crested gibbon and ancient Po Mu and Tsuga forests.
