About Nasketucket Bay

Nasketucket Bay State Reservation protects 209 acres of salt marsh, beach, and coastal habitat on Buzzards Bay in Fairhaven and Mattapoisett.

Wildlife Ecosystems

The salt marsh provides habitat for numerous shorebirds and wading birds. The bay supports diverse marine life. Horseshoe crabs spawn on beaches.
