About Hillman

A 3,654-acre largely undeveloped park in Washington County, once Pennsylvania's largest bituminous coal strip mine. Donated to the state in 1969 after restoration including two million planted trees, the park now features 34 miles of multi-use trails, hunting, and the historic Lyle Covered Bridge (1887) listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
