About Nino Konis Santana
Timor-Leste's first and only national park, occupying the eastern tip of the island and protecting lowland tropical monsoon forest alongside 556 km² of the Coral Triangle. It harbours roughly 200 bird species including the critically endangered yellow-crested cockatoo, plus rusa deer, cuscus, five sea turtle species and the world's richest coral and reef-fish diversity. Designated Timor-Leste's first UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
