About Tirad Pass

Tirad Pass Protected Landscape covers more than 7,500 hectares of mountainous terrain spanning five municipalities in eastern Ilocos Sur. The forested highland pass holds rich biodiversity and is renowned as the site of the 1899 last stand of General Gregorio del Pilar.
