Um Al-Rihan Nature Reserve preserves one of the last remaining Mediterranean forest ecosystems in Palestine, dominated by evergreen oak, carob, and mastic trees. The reserve has been protected since the British Mandate period and lies in a buffer zone west of Jenin.
