About Ngeruangel

A partially submerged atoll and no-take marine reserve northwest of Kayangel, Palau’s northernmost state, first declared by traditional leaders in 1996. The reserve protects coral reefs, seabird and turtle habitat and serves as a fish-replenishment area for surrounding waters.
