About Mulayit

A wildlife sanctuary in Kyain Seikgyi Township of Kayin State, gazetted in 1936, spanning the slopes of Mount Mulayit (Mulayit Taung) in the Dawna Range near the Thai border. Elevations from 80 to 2,010 m support grassland, evergreen and mixed deciduous forest.
