About Moscos Islands
An island chain in the Andaman Sea off the coast near Dawei, protecting nesting sites for edible-nest swiftlets and breeding beaches for sea turtles amid coral reefs and evergreen forest. One of Myanmar’s oldest protected areas, declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1927.
