Myanmar's first and largest national park, set in the Patolon Valley between the Chindwin and Myittha rivers. An ASEAN Heritage Park, it protects mixed deciduous and dry forest home to wild Asian elephants, gaur and other wildlife, and surrounds an important Buddhist pilgrimage shrine.
