About Bikar Atoll
A remote uninhabited atoll included in the Marshall Islands’ first national marine sanctuary in 2025. Its reefs hold some of the highest coral cover in the central and western Pacific and host major green-turtle nesting and seabird colonies, with access tightly restricted to protect the pristine ecosystem.
