Connemara

Connemara National Park protects 2,957 hectares of wild Atlantic landscape in County Galway, Ireland. Established in 1980, the park encompasses expansive bogs, heathlands, grasslands, and four of the Twelve Bens mountain range peaks. The landscape showcases the characteristic beauty of western Ireland with its dramatic interplay of mountains, valleys, and blanket bog ecosystems. The park forms part of the larger Connemara region, renowned for its rugged natural beauty and cultural heritage.
