About Yangoupokpi-Lokchao

Yangoupokpi-Lokchao Wildlife Sanctuary lies in Tengnoupal district of eastern Manipur, India, established in 1989 over former reserved forest along the India-Myanmar border. The hilly, forested sanctuary protects Mrs. Hume's pheasant and other threatened wildlife of the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot.
