About Tso Kar

A high-altitude wetland conservation reserve protecting the Tso Kar basin's saline and freshwater lakes on the Changthang plateau, Leh district, Ladakh. A Ramsar Site, it is India's most important breeding area for the near-threatened black-necked crane.
