About Asola Bhatti
Asola Bhatti is the only wildlife sanctuary in Delhi, protecting about 33 square kilometres of Aravalli scrub forest on the Southern Delhi Ridge. Reclaimed from abandoned mining pits, it shelters Indian leopards, nilgai, golden jackals, striped hyenas and nearly 200 bird species, serving as a critical wildlife corridor between Delhi and the Aravallis of Haryana.
