A Wetland of International Importance encompassing the Great Sea Reef (Cakaulevu) and traditional fishing grounds off northern Vanua Levu, protecting one of the world’s longest barrier reefs, lagoons, seagrass, and mangroves. Government-designated under the Ramsar Convention.
