National Wildlife Refuge - Connecticut, United States

Stewart B. McKinney National Wildlife Refuge protects over 1,000 acres across 10 units along 70 miles of Connecticut's coastline. The refuge provides critical habitat along the Atlantic Flyway for migratory birds including endangered roseate terns. Units include Salt Meadow, Great Meadows, and several islands.
