About Hainan Eucheuma

Marine and coastal nature reserve along the east coast of Wenchang and Qionghai protecting Eucheuma (qilin cai) seaweed beds, fringing coral reefs and seagrass meadows. Formed by merging the former Wenchang and Qionghai provincial reserves and re-delineated in 2021 at 90 km2.
