About Battle Lake

Part rolling upland and part wetland terrain featuring diverse mixed forest including aspen poplar, white spruce, balsam poplar, lodgepole pine, and paper birch. Wetter areas support varied plant communities including paper birch-Labrador tea, tamarack-black spruce-sphagnum moss, sedge meadows and willow shrubland. Located in the Boreal Forest - Central Mixedwood subregion.
