About Tasek Merimbun
Brunei's largest natural lake and the first declared ASEAN Heritage Park (1984), centred on the S-shaped black-water Merimbun Lake. The 7,800-hectare park encompasses freshwater swamp, peat swamp and mixed dipterocarp forest and is an Important Bird Area with over 200 bird species.
