About Hillsborough River
One of Florida's original state parks, this preserve along the Hillsborough River features Class II rapids, the only whitewater found on Florida's west coast. The park offers camping, paddling through cypress-lined waterways, and trails through hardwood hammocks where fossils and Native American artifacts have been discovered.
