A National Natural Landmark since the 1880s, this park features a 120-foot-deep, 500-foot-wide sinkhole containing a miniature rainforest ecosystem. Twelve springs feed the pool at the bottom, accessible via 132 wooden steps that descend past exposed rock layers revealing millions of years of Florida's geological history.
