About Kugluk/Bloody Falls Territorial Park
Located 15 km southwest of Kugluktuk on the Coppermine River. 'Kugluk' is the Inuinnaqtun word for 'white water, the place where water falls'. Contains Bloody Falls National Historic Site (designated 1978). The park features dramatic waterfalls and holds significant historical and cultural importance to the Copper Inuit. Total protected area includes 830 hectares.
