About Gordonia-Alatamaha

Named for the rare Gordonia bay tree and Franklin tree discovered nearby in 1765, this park features an 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths with a signature island green on the 15th hole. A 12-acre lake offers fishing for bass and catfish, while five cottages overlook the golf course. The park includes miniature golf, a swimming pool, and nature trails.
