About Okomu
Okomu Forest Reserve is a 1,082 km² protected area of tropical rainforest in Edo State. It is one of the last significant remnants of the lowland rainforest that once covered the region. The reserve contains the smaller Okomu National Park at its core and supports endangered forest elephants, white-throated guenons, and diverse birdlife.
