About Sand Hills

Sand Hills State Park preserves 1,123 acres of natural sand dunes, grasslands, wetlands, and woodlands in Reno County. Features rolling sand dunes 10-40 feet high stabilized by prairie grass, representing the northern edge of the Hutchinson Dune Tract. Excellent for viewing deer, turkeys, quail, and pheasants.
