About Agusan Marsh
Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most ecologically significant wetlands in the Philippines, a vast complex of freshwater marshes and watercourses in the Agusan River basin. It is a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance and an ASEAN Heritage Park, sheltering rare waterbirds, the indigenous Manobo floating communities, and large freshwater crocodiles.
