Located approximately 60 km north of Winnipeg on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, Winnipeg Beach Provincial Park was created in the 1960s to help revitalize the resort town. The park features a three-kilometer stretch of sandy beach and includes 120 full-service campsites that opened in 2011, supporting recreation in this popular swimming and cottage destination.
