About San Quintín
Parque Nacional San Quintín protects a stretch of coastal dunes and dry coastal brush on San Quintín Bay along the Pacific coast. The park is home to 249 species of native flora and fauna, including the endemic kangaroo rat (Dipodomys gravipes) which was rediscovered in the bay area. The protected area represents 7% of biodiversity registered in Baja California state.
