About Marchand Provincial Park
Marchand Provincial Park is located in the southeast corner of Manitoba, within the Sandilands Provincial Forest, approximately nine kilometres east of the community of Marchand and about 80 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg. The park is located within the vast sand and gravel ridge of the Sandilands Provincial Forest. The natural-looking setting has jack pines and blueberry and bearberry shrubs, with wildlife including white-tailed deer and black bear. Primarily intended for day use recreation and a staging area for the network of trails adjacent to the park, the park serves cyclists, horseback riders, snowmobilers and cross-country skiers using trails in and adjacent to the park. Marchand Logging Days are held annually every August.
