About Kinwow Bay Provincial Park
Located on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg near Jackhead Indian Reserve, approximately 200 kilometres north of Winnipeg. The park features spectacular forest and wetland areas that host a wide array of wildlife including bear, deer, wolves, beaver, muskrat, geese, ducks and songbirds. Proposed by Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation, the park secures boreal lands from industrial development while ensuring traditional practices can continue.
