About Iqalugaarjuup Nunanga Territorial Park
Meaning 'the land around the river of little fishes', referring to Arctic grayling in the Meliadine River. Located 8-10 km northwest of Rankin Inlet. The park encompasses an esker covered by lichen-moss, glacial deposits, bedrock outcrops, and unusual plants. Contains over 45 archaeological sites including house ruins, tent rings, graves, and Thule remains.
