About Grand Valley Provincial Park
A nicely treed provincial park located in the Assiniboine River Valley, about 13 kilometres west of Brandon. The park is home to the historic Stott Site, an ancient First Nations burial mound and bison kill site, and was declared a provincially designated historic site in 1948. Currently owned and operated by Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, it features a lookout tower and interpretive trail explaining the rich First Nations history of the land.
