About Dhilba Guuranda-Innes
Located on the southwestern tip of Yorke Peninsula, this co-managed park recognizes the ongoing cultural connection of the Narungga people. Rugged coastline, sandy beaches, and mallee scrubland provide habitat for reintroduced tammar wallabies, endangered hooded plovers, and malleefowl. The park offers excellent camping, fishing, and surfing, hosting the prestigious Yorkes Classic surfing event each May. Twenty-two historic shipwrecks lie along the coast, and visitors can explore the remnants of the former gypsum mining town of Inneston.
