About Danggu Gorge
Also known as Geikie Gorge, this Kimberley national park features an 8-kilometre gorge carved by the Fitzroy River through 350-million-year-old Devonian reef limestone. The 30-metre high walls support freshwater crocodiles, barramundi, and sawfish, while traditional owners call this sacred place Danggu - meaning deep water under the cave.
