About Tanjung Tuan
A forested coastal headland on a Melaka exclave at Cape Rachado, gazetted as a wildlife and bird sanctuary in 1971 and managed by PERHILITAN. A BirdLife International Important Bird Area, it is one of Southeast Asia's premier raptor migration watch points, where thousands of birds of prey cross the Strait of Malacca each spring.
