Located 25 km northwest of Warburg on the North Saskatchewan River, this moderately rolling upland protects aspen-dominated forest with white spruce, balsam poplar, and paper birch. The site is a key wildlife area for white-tailed deer, mule deer, and moose in the aspen parkland boreal fringe.
