About Ruoergai Wetland
Ruoergai Wetland is the largest alpine peat marsh in the world, located on the northeastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau. This Ramsar wetland site at 3,400-3,700 meters elevation provides critical habitat for black-necked cranes, bar-headed geese, and numerous migratory bird species along the upper Yellow River.
