About Single
Single National Park is a small rainforest and wet forest park in the northern rivers region of New South Wales, located in the ranges near Grafton in the Clarence Valley. Covering approximately 1,230 hectares, the park protects significant areas of subtropical rainforest and wet sclerophyll forest on the volcanic ranges of the Clarence Valley hinterland. The park contributes to the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area and provides habitat connectivity in the fragmented northern rivers landscape.

Single National Park supports subtropical rainforest wildlife typical of the Clarence Valley hinterland. The park provides habitat for diverse rainforest birds including the Wompoo fruit-dove and regent bowerbird. Ringtail possums and diverse bats inhabit the canopy. The park is underlain by basaltic rocks associated with the Cenozoic volcanism of the Clarence Valley. The basaltic soils support the subtropical rainforest communities.
