About Phillip Island
The Phillip Island section of Norfolk Island National Park, about 6 km south of the main island, is a steep red-soiled volcanic island whose vegetation is recovering after the eradication of feral rabbits, pigs and goats. It is a globally significant seabird breeding site and home to endemic plants, managed by Parks Australia.
