About Kurrimine Beach

Kurrimine Beach National Park is a small coastal protected area near Innisfail in Far North Queensland, protecting a section of coastal rainforest and beach environment on the Cassowary Coast. The park is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and provides important habitat for the southern cassowary in an area where most of the coastal lowland vegetation has been cleared for sugarcane and banana farming.
